Our Facilities

Our facilities initially look very different to a ‘normal’ injury clinic, but there’s good reason for that. We are pioneering a cutting-edge approach which combines traditional hands-on therapy techniques with corrective exercise prescription and coaching. By combining these two disciplines, we ensure that your injury is fixed as quickly as possible, and that it stays away permanently.

Put simply, the root cause of most people’s injury or pain (unless it is the result of a collision or accident) is usually down to a combination of the following factors:

  • poor postural alignment
  • muscle imbalances around a joint
  • poor movement patterns
  • lack of specific strength

Whilst hands-on therapy techniques help you to become pain free, they often only address the symptom of the problem – the pain itself. We have found that it is only through exercise prescription and coaching that you can work on the root cause of your pain – a combination of the factors above – to prevent it from coming back. Our unique initial assessment will determine which, if any, of these contributing factors you have.

You certainly don’t have to be an athlete to use our services. We get as much satisfaction from making a difference to the life of a client with a disabling condition as we do in working with elite sport. The majority of our current personal training clients were patients who were previously struggling with aches and pains, recovering from surgery or looking to improve conditions that caused discomfort for many years. Once they were pain free, they asked to help them to become fitter than they were before they were injured.

Our Techniques

  • Muscle Energy Techniques (METs)

These hands-on techniques are combined with gym-based rehabilitation and posture/ movement pattern re-education where required.
