Here’s a few photos of Cambridge Nomad Hockey Club’s first fitness session in our facility. Had you have been there to see it, you’d have witnessed feats of athleticism that were hitherto unwitnessed by human eyes.

…if you’d have looked in the gym area, rather than on the track… On the track, you’d have heard huffing and puffing and exclamations of how tight and broken everyone felt :)

The sessions covered elements of core stability, movement patterns, strengthening and finished with some hockey-specific fitness.

Alex Mutucumarana, the Nomads captain said “The session was awesome. …The guys all thoroughly enjoyed it. It’s amazing how some of the simple drills we did showed where we’re weak or tight – and the reason behind injuries.”
